but I was highly sensitive, often unwell, and picked up this deep, quiet fear that maybe… I was too much to handle.
So I became the overfunctioner. The worrier. The pleaser. The hyper-aware partner who could sense a tone shift before a word was even spoken.
But underneath all of that was one belief running the show:
“If I were enough, they wouldn’t leave.”
Healing that core wound changed everything.
